Megan Lee Perry

Megan was born and raised in Barrhead. After high school, she moved to Edmonton to attend the University of Alberta. In 2008, she completed her bachelor’s degree in Education with distinction, and earned her Juris Doctor in 2012. While in law school, Megan was involved with the Annual Student Law Show, both as a committee member and as an actor. She volunteered with both Pro Bono Students Canada and Student Legal Services. Megan also served as the Chief Tribune of the University of Alberta Students’ Union Discipline, Interpretation and Enforcement Board. In 2011 she also represented the University of Alberta as part of the Corporate Securities Moot Team at the annual national competition in Toronto.

Megan has been called to the bar in both British Columbia and Alberta, but practices solely in Alberta.  She presently serves as the President of the Barrhead & District Chamber of Commerce, and sits on the Agenda for Justice, Access to Justice, and Legislative Review Committees of the Alberta Branch of the Canadian Bar Association.  

In her spare time, Megan loves to travel and is always looking for new places to explore. She also enjoys reading, theatre, and spending time with friends and family.
